| Happy Labor Day. In Rochester, this marks the traditional start of winter.
I've been doing laundry today. After I moved my clothes to the dryer, I put five coins in the slider-thingie and pushed it in, but it didn't take them. I'd brought an extra quarter, so I tried replacing each quarter with my spare. The fourth one I tried to remove was stuck, but after I removed each of its neighbors, I was able to yank it out. It wasn't a quarter. It has Arabic script on it; each side has a pentagon on it containing a bridge on one side and an eagle on the other. Does that sound familiar to anyone?

| Tonight I did jello shots. Then I rolled down a hill and did some cartwheels.
I've been hanging out with a younger crowd.

| Breakfast today was oatmeal without milk (I thought I had milk, but what I had was no longer milk). Dinner today turned out to be blander. I added garlic and cumin, but, apparently, not enough.

| My Katie takes the morning plane From Greece to London Heathrow, then She takes the plane to Boston and I still don't get to see her for a month and a half Still, it's a step in the right direction. The flight, I mean, not the song.
